There is no Justice in the World
I’ve put off doing a blog for a number of days, because I have wanted to post a blog about Nerida Williams, the woman who took part in beating my best friend Adam Lange to death in May of this year. I was recently informed that even though she had admitted to kicking Adam repeatedly in the head, and cleaning up the crime scene after the incident occurred she is now out on bail. I’m at a loss for words that someone that is still being charged with murder can be allowed bail. Not only is she out on bail, but the QLD Government, and thus the QLD tax payer has to pay for her flights from the ACT back to QLD for her trial.
Williams partner Trent Byron Green, has not been granted bail, and for that I’m thankful. Still I can’t help but feel the system has failed. William’s father is the former chairman of the ACT’s Indigenous Elected Body, and that in itself makes me think that her release is partly due to political pressures more than anything else.
I wasn’t there when it happened I don’t know all the details, but I saw Adam in hospital after the incident, and I was there when they turned the life support machine off. Trent, and Nerida bound him, beat, kicked, and repeatedly stabbed him, while their children were asleep in the next room. This woman who has admitted to all these things, is walking the streets of Kaleen in the ACT, for the most part a free woman. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. There is no justice system in this country.
Below Nerida Williams, and her partner Trent Byron Green.

whatever has happened to journalistic integrity?
or is it just that you are one of Adam’s many ex boyfriends that has blinded you, Adam was a junkie meth addict who had previously been bust buy police for running a meth lab. dealers are always bound to come to a nasty end. As for being bound at the time of his death what a crock of shite. I work at GCH and i know this to be a lie. Yes Nerida has appeared to have walked free at the moment everyone who has dealings with her hopes she will pay for what she has done. Trent’s part in this is unclear all we know to be true at the moment is that it was he who resuscitated Adam. I know you will not publish this but at least you will have read it. The pics you have attached you have stolen from sites that do not belong to you and you have not noted this in your post. Very poor journalism!
Journalistic integrity is reserved for newspapers and news sites not personal ‘blogs’, this isn’t The Australian, or the New York Times. There is only one image that you could possibly be referring to as the cover image is a stock image that is public domain and requires no more then a paid membership to photostock. Regarding the one of Nerida, and Trent which is the one I’m assuming bothers you the most, it is taken from a two minute Google search, and as this is a blog I didn’t think it necessary to link the users IP address. There is no information in this blog that can’t be found in news articles from a quick Google search. As for what I know, I know what I’ve been told, and I know what I’ve read ie news articles, and exerts from the coroners report. I also know for a fact having known Adam for nearly 15 years, that he was never once charged with trafficking or possession of a “meth lab”, however I’m also not naive enough to think that he wasn’t a drug addict, I just don’t think being addicted to a substance should warrant a death sentence. When all is said and done, you and I clearly aren’t going to agree on anything, and one thing life has taught me this year is it keeps going on. So you know what if you don’t like it don’t read it. Use that time to go see a friend or family member, none of us know how much time we’ve got left on this earth, and sometimes it all seems like a bit of a struggle, but other times, other times it’s completely amazing. So focus on the amazing stuff, and move on, I know I’m trying to.
I knew him not for long, but he was a nice guy. Always polite. Didn’t even know he was gay, not that that matters. I don’t care if he was an addict, plenty are, the guys in the pub all day are no different except that their addiction is condoned because it’s been ingrained in society for too long. No one deserves to be murdered, and if they did, that’s what the justice system is for. Get over yourself, ‘Agnes’, I’m sure you are not without fault.
